[over to the food section of the Yard! bowls are laid out, filled with all manner of food that a discerning feline might enjoy]

[she's so happy that another little cat will be well-fed tonight, crouching down beside him.

[she... she can't keep from staring at it, trying to come up with what it could possibly be! Maybe he is a special breed of cat from another world, and that is one of the trademarks of his bloodline. Could it be a genetic anomaly? Maybe it is just a very out-of-place whisker.
