[is it another strange little cat? Why yes it is! This little cat, however, is obviously the best one. So pretty and clever, with those big green eyes... Don't you just want to take care of her? Feed her, maybe?

[Someone else has been poking around in the kitchen a little while, and he's already fed one cat... but, here's another one! He squats down to be at eye level with her.]

Hey, there. There's sure a lot of cats around here...

[she does her best to look as charming as possible, and she's actually quite good at it! Just look at the way she purrs and arches her back. It almost looks like she's smiling!]

[Dawwww adorable cat. He smiles back and stands up.]

I found some fish up here earlier... Let's see, where was that. [roots around in the cupboard a little bit until he finds one of those flat plastic packs of tuna!]

I'm not sure how you're supposed to get these open, but that other cat didn't have a problem with it. [puts it down on the table and pushes toward her, k...kinda trying to gauge whether she will attack or anything. There's already some fresh claw scratches on that hand.]

[what kind of service is this? He's not even going to open it for her?? She's initially excited by the prospect of food... but her tail droops and expression falls flat at this development. She's not going to attack him, but she certainly doesn't seem amused by the presentation of her meal]

[S... sigh he does not understand modern conveniences Faye!] I'm sorry, all right, I don't know how to open it. You have claws, though... there's fish in there, trust me. [he should know, he had to clean it up. nudges it a little closer.]

[no, not budging on this. There were knives, and...things. No way she was going to waste time and energy trying to bite and claw this thing open. Impatient tail flick!]

[... a knife ... duh. why didn't he think of that. OKAY FINE there's one conveniently nearby, so he'll use that and open it neatly up for her.]

There, now are you happy?

[... has probably been mind reading her for the answers for a couple tags now actually MY BAD... ;;]

[ha! ...Well. There is a very snarky mind behind this adorable little face. Even as she purrs and perks up, settling down to neatly eat her meal, she's thinking that you're an idiot]

[what is with these cats?? SO RUDE. he'll choose not to be bothered by it though, cats are frequently assholes anyway.]

Says you. You don't even know how old that fish is. [just be... leanin' on the table and watchin' you eat.... and oh no he's MOVIN IN FOR THE EAR SCRATCH.]

[...what. She stops eating and leans back sharply, ducking away from his hand in the process and narrows her little eyes at him. Hold the phone, here. She didn't say anything --and did he just imply that he gave her bad food??]

[snickers a little.] I didn't. It smells fine, doesn't it? I wouldn't do that. [rests his chin in his hands]

[her ears fold back. What the heck. Was he some sort of mind-reader or something?? Maybe he's just one of those crazy people who hear voices...]

... I know. [scratches his head sheepishly. he gets that a lot.] It makes it a lot easier to have conversations like this, though.
