[Chores aren't going to do themselves, so Merlin's got an early start on the day.

Except since when does anything he sets out to do go according to plan? And when does he not get sidetracked from chores? He's out looking at the mess as well when he overhears her.]

I'm sure there will be plenty of other horrendous creatures you can fight with in the future. Not that I'm hoping any more decide to pay us a visit.
