[Fish, you say? Have one white cat staring at the delicious smelling treats intently.]

[as he dices up some more of the eel, ready to drop that into the brewing stew he's started, he'll pause when he catches sight of the cat.

Setting a few pieces onto a platter, he'll set it down on the floor with a sigh] I've already gone and seasoned it. Over done, most likely, to the taste of felines. But you're welcome to it, all the same.

[Cooked fish. Cooked and seasoned fish. Mogget is in Heaven. Purring like a small engine, he bends to wolf down the fish, tail swishing lazily.]

Good to see an enthusiastic appetite. [since that went over well, he'll add a few more pieces to the plate before turning his attention back to the finishing stew] Knowing this place, it might turn out to unsettle your stomach later, but it's a welcome sight anyway.

[Waiting until he'd finished his plate, he starts to lick his paws clean contentedly.]

About time someone fed me.

[the voice doesn't even get him to look up from his own meal as he ladles the finished dish into a bowl for himself.]

Yes...it's quite an unfortunate thing, the way these humans go about things. Sometimes I fear the castle's already gone and removed all their common sense. Not that it would much change things, if it was still intact, but it would be a small comfort.

That does seem to be the case... though it's hardly my place to judge such things.

Why not? They'll be judging you at the same time.

Quite so. I suppose there's no avoiding that, then. But one does try...

Hm. More fish, please.

Certainly.

[it was rather nice to have such polite company. He doesn't hesitate to spoon a bit more fish out onto Mogget's plate]

Thank you.

[He can be polite when it suits him... and when it includes fish, it definitely does suit him.]
