[People imagine Heaven as a land of clouds and golden pathways and citadels and perhaps it is, but Heaven's a state of mind, a place woven by the people who end up there. For angels, it's usually the same, but for an angel who has abandoned Heaven, it could be anything they choose to remember it being. In this case, it's a snow-covered garden- The Garden, specifically- stretching out to eternity. The garden, itself, at the present moment (and probably much to Joshua's chagrin) is an icy, lonely place, full of evergreen trees, bushes, and three inches of snow covering everything, down to the frozen fountain at its center. It's still, peaceful, almost haunting.
And then laughter cuts through the serenity and two teenage boys burst free of a pair of trees, laughing like hooligans, and tripping over themselves. Angels don't resemble their human vessels in Heaven- they're massive creatures of light, shaped in eerie, yet beautiful, ways- but here in this dream, the rules don't apply. Angels may be ageless, but here, they're presenting themselves with the vitality of youth. This never happened. It never could have happened. But it's a dream and as angels don't typically dream, the angel dreaming it is making the most of it.
Gabriel is distinctive, despite his human-shaped form looking a good twenty years younger than what people would normally be used to seeing. The other boy is unfamiliar- taller, older, smirking, with sandy hair and a calm expression and the sort of beauty that, were he human, would suggest a heartbreaker. Both are dressed in white and both seem to glow with ethereal light, keeping them both from blending in with the snow.
The two angels share another look and then burst into a fit of laughter again, a private joke brought back to life. When Gabriel speaks, his voice is pitched higher than normal.]
How long d'you think he'll stand there?
[The other angel purses his lips and considers it before saying, "Long enough." Somewhere, an annoyed voice calls out, "Do I really have to hold this star here the whole time?" The laughter starts anew and another rustle comes from the trees. The angel with Gabriel glances up and then bolts, leaving Gabriel alone in the Garden.]
Hu- Hey! Lucifer. [He crosses his arms over his chest grumpily, clearly not caring who just crashed his and Lucifer's well-planned practical joke on Raphael. All that matters is his older brother left him holding the bag. Dammit.]
[[OOC: Will be slow, because LOL so busy, but totally open for anyone to crash. And yes, Lucifer and Gabriel just tricked Raphael into holding the Star of Bethlehem in place. They're assholes.]]
