Eventually he hears the crunch of footsteps nearby, and looks up to see a boy a little older than him, he thinks. And there's something...he doesn't know. Not familiar, exactly, but not completely strange either.]

Don't ask me. I was just trying to RTC after work and I ended up at the wrong castle. I thought I was going to be in big trouble, but people keep saying that no one will notice we're gone.
