I am feeling quite a bit better though, and thought perhaps we might go into town and seek out winter flowering plants and holiday sweets. I always enjoy your company, after all, and I hear this is the season to appreciate those around for whom you care.

I know you are new here, so I feel it might be nice if you received an education in the lay of the land surrounding the castle. I need to take out my mount, Svitana, for exercise regularly. Perhaps you might like to join me on one of these occasions and we might go riding and give you a proper tour of the area surrounding the castle. Believe me, it will come in handy one day.

I know this is somewhat belated, but I wish to extend my thanks to you for going with me to shop for a coat. To be honest I would not have been knowledgeable of which coats would serve best for the weather, so your input was priceless. And of course I enjoyed your company. If you ever need my services, do let me know so that I might repay you for the day you spent with me helping me figure out how to adjust to this new weather.
[All of that done, Ashura sighs and sets aside his pen before going to check on the milk he has warming in a pan on the stove. He is trying to make hot chocolate, but he has never liked the microwave, so it is the old fashioned way for him. He barely gets along with the stove as it is. There is a large bag of marshmallows on the table, about 1/3 eaten. Guess by who?]
