[Momentary derp- when he notices Kanda, he just grins and offers a plate of cake]

[actually, he's very hungry, for tempura, but he's staring at the spread of food all over the kitchen; it's not like he can exactly cook himself at the moment]

Well, there's curry, red velvet cake, some chocolate chip cookies-

[He points to each one as he names them.]

[Walks in, ignoring you as he makes for the cupboard with the tea. Only thing he can locate in here without looking forever. He is filling up the teapot now, but...now he's lookin'...out of the corner of his eye. Because pretty much all he's had to eat for 4 days has been tea and toast (oh and booze...lots of booze) and what is that smell? Totally pretending not to be interested in your cooking.]
