[wryly,] I'll be fine. MJOLNIR doesn't make the Spartan, just makes just makes us harder to kill. I'll just have to rely on dodging more.

Good. Long as it's not something you count on. [Not that he thinks a Spartan would, but one can never be sure.]

It's not going anywhere, unless you want to deal with a gaping wound and bloodloss. I'll just have to secure it so it's doesn't get in the way. [She's not looking forward to that part, but it's a small inconvenience compared to the amount of information she hopes to glean from this expedition.]

In a way, yes; I wanted to test the castle's abilities; with any luck there should already be something appropriate on your bed.

[And yes, the castle has very nicely deposited the requested items; military drab, weather appropriate. Enough for a few days and a duffel to fit them all in. On top of it all is a blue jacket, which she picks up and inspects, pleased. There's 'Kat S-320' in gold embroidery on the front, and the back is graced with the stylized eagle of Noble Team.]

[She's thoughtfully quiet for a moment, and gives a soft little chuckle,] At least the castle does good work.

[She'll start removing her armor piece by piece, stacking it carefully out of the way. A lifetime of training and combat with coed teammates has made her unashamed to be doing so while York's still standing there]

We're leaving tomorrow. There's already a sizeable group willing to go; experienced, fighters, it's a promising collection. I'll be interested to see how they get along with each other. This should be a perfect opportunity to start grooming fireteams for future incidents.

Somehow I think you'll keep them safe if things go south. A good field commander is what we need here.
