[True to her word, Cassandra's in front of Dick and Damian's door half an hour later. She lifts her hand and raps in the door with her knuckles, loud enough for anyone inside the apartment/room to hear. She waits a minute or two for a response.
Silence.]
Damian?
[This time there is a response. It's faint, and it's not the one she wanted. It's Steve, the mini pig. The squeals are muffled by the door, but she can hear them. That isn't good. Cass reaches to her side and pulls a little kit out of the pocket of her hoodie. Yay lockpicks. Soon enough, she's made quick work of the lock and opens the door.]
Damian? I'm coming up.
[Closing the door behind her, she makes her way into the apartment, heading towards Damian's room, talking aloud all the while just in case.]
Steve doesn't sound good, maybe you should feed him. I understand you're worried about Dick. We all are, but he can handle himself.
[As she gets closer, her tone grows more concerned. This isn't like him, no matter how upset he is. When she reaches his room, the door's ajar. Her eyes widen a bit before she hurries to open it.
The room looks normal. There's no sign of a struggle or a fight. His shoes and jacket are where they belong, just like no one let.
That's the scary part.
Quickly, Cass pulls out her journal and makes a filter. While she's working on her detective skills, not is certainly not the time for training.]
