[Thanks to Yosuke, Mat's been spending a bit more time in the game room than is probably healthy. At first, he just really wanted to get more familiar with these strange machines. There was a kind of taboo thrill of messing with something that should have been magic, but wasn't.
Only, the more he plays, the more hooked he is.
Tonight, he can be found at one of the computers, hunched close to the screen as he plays Call to Arms. He's still pretty horrible at it, but he was just starting to feel a bit more confident when he's shot down, his character dying in spectacular (and bloody) display.
Frustrated, he shoves back from the screen] There wasn't even anyone--!!! Blood and ashes...this is impossible...
