[To the castle]
[waking up is a bit like coming out of a very bad dream. There’s the lingering feeling of dread, the snippets of conversations and events that come back - out of order - to haunt the back of her thoughts. The distracted disorientation from being so out of the loop for so long. Everything she’d missed. Everyone she’d ignored….
When she can finally begin to make sense of it, she tries to write her message to the castle, but she presses so hard on the paper that the tip of her pencil breaks. Rather than hunt down another one, she takes a deep breath before dictating as calmly as possible]
You just couldn’t leave it alone, could you?
[a pause] If I ever find out how to stop you? I will…

So…I haven’t really been myself this week. I’m better now.
…Thank you.

So…I’m guessing some of you have questions. [a moment of hesitation] It’s alright. I don’t mind answering.

[Sakaki]
I know I’ve been gone all week… but I need to be gone just a little bit longer. I’ll see you tomorrow, okay?
[/Sakaki]
[She’s spent nearly a week trying to hide from people. Soon, she knows she’ll have to go back out. Face everyone and step back into the place she’s carved for herself, here. But for tonight she heads into town. If anyone is wandering late, they might notice the lights are on in the empty, town church where she holds her art class. People will be waiting tomorrow. Right now, she needs her art.
At first, she’s not sure what she’s planning. Even as she begins prepping the canvas and adding the underpainting, it’s still only a vague idea. But as the shapes start to form under her brush, she focuses, seeing the painting a step ahead in her mind. It didn’t matter that she hadn’t had a decent night’s sleep in days. She needed to do this. Now. And, with pinpointed determination, she’ll be working at that canvas until well into the dawn.]
[ooc: Open over the journal or in person, if your char would have a reason to search her out/wander into the old church. And, with the loss over, I will officially stop spamming the comm. with Jilly. Thanks everyone]
