Difficulty would be incorrect. [kind of lost in thought... he knows it's you now, pharos, hi thar] It's meditation, which is like difficulty, but self-inflicted and is, in general, about nothing.

[hey Joshua. Over in an opposite corner is one young!Jilly, looking considerably less happy than the last time the castle made her a teenager. Thanks to Natsuki, she's less hungry now, but no less raggedy.

But, to him, something else might stand out more. The light that seemed to move with her (to those sensitive enough to see it), has dimmed drastically. It's still there, but flickering, like a candle flame in wind.

And she's watching him. Only out of the corner of her eye, but it's happening all the same. He looks to be about her age...which is absolutely no comfort. Unfortunately, until someone tells her she has an actual room, she doesn't have anywhere else to go. So she keeps her wary gaze fixed sideways and stays on her side of the lobby, silent.]
