[A very VERY weighted silence. 7 knew that Shortpack had some idea what home would be like for him, if he ever went back, and though he never told her the specifics she knew it wasn't anything pleasant.]
[Yeah, that just makes her feel worse. There was a lot of bad things that happened, and she was the source of more of those than she'd care to admit, but there were also the good times. They weren't BFFs without reason.]
Fine. Yeah. Whatever. Because the hell he has there is probably not as bad as the hell we have here.
Maybe you're right. If you are, then it was a good thing that the castle took him away for a while. But you can't escape your problems forever. We'll all have to go back.
