[another explosion on his floor?? Deja vu, here.

Despite wanting to hide forever after the ridiculous Pillow Fort War, Zuko runs out into the hall when he feels those walls shake.

The first thing he does? Check on the last room that exploded]

[runs headlong into you as she throws open her door to check it out, and falls on her ass]

Ow.

Oof!

[likewise is knocked over right onto his ass]

[winces and picks herself up. Blinks at you and it dawns on her.]

I didn't blow up my room this time, okay. [quite defensively]

I can see that.

[picking himself up, gives her an annoyed look]

At least you're wearing clothes this time.

Oh shut up. I don't do that on purpose!

[goes to say something back but, oh right, the whole reason they came out here in the first place. Look at all that smoke down the hall!]

And that isn't your fault either?

[grumblegrumble, but starts walking towards the smoke]

No. For one thing, the walls are still intact.

Slows down as they get nearer, trying to hear what's going on]

[they don't get much closer before a short figure shuffles out, hands shoved into pockets. He's covered in soot and bits of debris and seems pretty irritated... but otherwise unharmed]

It's always "blame the kender! The kender did it! It's not MY fault if they aren't more careful where they set up traps...

[pauses when he sees a very small person exit the ruined room]

...A kid?

[oh. It's the dude who was trying to take apart the cube.]

Hey, what happened? [takes in the soot] You okay?

[everborrowing]

[blinking as he realizes others are there, his face lights up in a smile] Oh, I'm fine.

...wow... I guess I probably shouldn't be. That was quite an explosion. I haven't seen one like that since Fizban actually got the right spell and set off a fireball, and that was in a much smaller space. [running a wondering hand over his unharmed clothing. Oddly enough, the realization that he might have been hurt doesn't seem to upset him. At all]
