[Michael is in the main hall, sitting at a chair, the journal open beside him, though he's not paying attention to it. Instead he's muttering to himself a bit.]
I'm not shy, just because I don't go out of my way to meet people.... That's not the same at all, really....
[There's a long pause and he grumbles, finally directing his attention to the journal.]
I have a question... what do people do here? After they've settled in. I know some people find jobs, but are there any other organizations?
