He's kind of lost in his own thoughts at the moment, but any skyward bound peoples can feel free to disturb him]

And judging from when we spoke, it seems you already know who I am.

I am. I'm him from a different universe. Just a younger version.

Nonetheless I'm pretty sure I am not an alternate version, which begs the question: what kind of... 'accident' would lead me to looking like him?

We were prepping for a flight into space.

There was an accident while you were in space. You came back, but your body was destroyed.

I'm pretty sure something of that damaging magnitude on the body will definitely kill someone.

It should have killed you, but it didn't. It just changed you.
