[It's late, and in City Royale a stray journal has ended up in an empty - a mostly empty street. It's picking an unusual sound:
A horrifyingly inhuman roar that is abruptly cut off, and a heavy thud as something huge hits the ground. Whatever made that sound is now silent... though if one listens closely, they'll be able to hear a soft, quick panting.
Anyone who happens to walk down that way will find a monstrous creature lying motionless in the middle of the street, and standing on top of it a tiny, thin figure.]
