[a laugh] I'm not the biggest fan, either. But this isn't really just about football. There's the band and the choir and the excuse just to hang out. It's not a bad setup.

[winces] I've heard the sounds coming out of that band room. It wasn't pretty.

[a laugh] Maybe they'll have improved.

We were transported back to high school from a magic castle. Stranger things have happened.

[damn logic. She's out of excuses now.] I guess I'll go check it out and see if a miracle managed to happen.

You could always join us at Denny's later. Even if it's horrible, we can get greasy food to chase it away.

It is, and it's open late, so we'll have plenty of time after the rally.
