Take down a list of the current Peace Patrol projects I got going on.
Yeah, so this is more of a personal to-do list. The Peace Patrol is like three people right now, so sue me.
Speaking of, first item. Recruitment.
Current status, failing miserably. Plans: Make an announcement in the next few days, pass out some fliers, maybe give away some pizza. I'd say booze, but half the people here are under the legal drinking age, and- Yeah, okay, you got me, I don't give a shit about that. Booze is green-lighted.
Next item. Outposts. Specifically, I need to redesign some of my energy monitors, get a nice user interface that won't be broken by somebody with a pet golem, and install it all at each location. Rin also asked my to design a balloon for depowered recon.... which is already done. Just need to get materials and start construction.
So current status, preliminaries all check out and just waiting on the free time to get down to the nitty gritty. If I can dedicate a day to it, it's a done deal. Wayne Brady's job couldn't be any easier.
Third on the list. Apostles.
I'm not sure what to think about them myself. Lot of stuff going around. Really, not sure if it's even worth bringing to court. Yuan had a point about this crap happening before, even with him. I'd still trust the guy to have my back, though. Still, it's worth looking into.
Current status, three of the four Apostles are accounted for. The bird's off the radar, but singing Hansen, so he's not dead. Just tone deaf. I'll take Doctor Numero Eleven up on his offer for this, if I can find one of the Apostles willing to go for it. I think one of them is the Doctor's friend, so that part shouldn't be too hard. We'll take things from there.
Fourth, a power source to work out in the dead zone. Fusion, fission, and electrical storage devices are all proven failures. Don't think anybody's tried straight gasoline-powered, but even if they did, most items are too advanced to work without an electrical charge. It'll take some redesigning to make an item that would work like that. After that, we'll try steam power. After that.... maybe I'll try Clark's idea. Let's hope the castle gives out a lot of potatoes.
Current status on that one, planning stage only. I can whip the designs up easy enough, but building them is just too damn time consuming.
....Fifth, hire some helpers. An assistant would be nice. Especially if it's a hot chick. Not that I'd hire anything else. Also, some people to just help me build these things.
