[The journal is open when Yuan gets back to his room and sits down at his desk. There's a slight sound of moving fabric, and then]

...What? How did that- I swear I just got this thing mended.

[a quiet rustle of paper, followed by]

Ow!

[a drop of blood on the corner of the page, quickly wiped away]

...That can't be right.

You remember I rolled up that train schedule before I put it in my pocket?

...It seems to have cut the seam. And my hand.

My goodness! Are the edges particularly sharp? Though they shouldn't cut through cloth, even so.

I didn't touch the edge. It was the smooth side that cut me.

For example, cutting things despite having a smooth edge.

That... doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Did something do that?

It did. I have in my hand a train schedule, a single sheet of paper, rolled into a tube.

[A slice appears in the journal page.]

Which can do that.

I was cut by the smooth edge of a rolled-up sheet of paper.

[FML]

...how? [ that doesn't make any sense ]

It was something you took out of the room?

How should I know? It just...happened.

A train schedule, yes. It has the InGen logo on it, that's why I kept it for study, but I don't recall anything of this sort at Jurassic Park.

The train schedule cuts things.

[Some sounds of paper shuffling.]

It stops working when I unroll it, which must be why I didn't notice sooner.

[Gino read through the other posts to know what happened so Yuan doesn't have to repeat himself for the umteenth time. Have a written repsonse,]

Nothing seems odd about the tray I took, but that doesn't mean anything.

Be careful with it. It could be perfectly innocuous, but in case it's not, you don't want to find out by accident.

Alright, I'll certainly be careful. Thank you for the warning.
