A brief update for those of you who've not investigated this hidden room: it's full of strange items, ranging from mens' clothing to pieces of what look to be the equivalent of twentieth-century Earth technology to a book written entirely in a language none of us here seems to recognize.

It's more likely to have a personal significance, then. If this is the room of a former resident, it's likely he was a male from America in 1961.

Coins tend to circulate for years, the date of the coins might not mean anything.

It's possible, though the fact that all of them were dated the same cannot be a coincidence.

Perhaps, perhaps not. I'm sure in my pocket now I have several coins of a similar date.

But then, who knows?

True. Though at a minimum, it shows either that these coins originated at that time, or that they were specifically requested to have that date on them.
