[There's a rustling in one of the sleeping rooms, and the awakening of a king into a confused state. He can see that he is in a castle, but it is not *his* castle. The bedchamber is strange, and he still has his royal garments on, rather than the nightclothes he usually wears. Plus, his sword and dagger appear to be gone. He gets up slowly, moving

[ she doesn't believe it first, she spends a nice amount of time staring at her journal in shock before she decides to speak. her voice hesitant and rather unsure. it can't be him, he can't be here of all places ]

My lord?

[He hears the voice, but is uncertain as to its origin. He does not see Morgana anywhere nearby, and she does not say enough to alert him that it's the machine. ]

Where are you? I do not see you.

[ she steps away from her journal slightly, it really is him. should she be happy? sad? angry? frustrated? scared? yes if anything fear is the first thing she feels, after spending so much time free to be who she truly is she must embrace secrecy again ]

My voice is coming from a book my lord, but it is not of important. The door of your room should have a number on it, if you tell me it I will come to see you. [ she can't avoid him, it would look too suspicious ]

[He looks, and tells her the number.]

This is all strange. I can only believe it to be sorcery.

[That...Is a voice Arthur would recognize anywhere, and one he'd never expected to hear in Paradisa. Not even while he'd hoped he would at one time or another. He's so completely shocked by it that hold on his glass becomes non existent and it shatters loudly. It's enough to get him moving towards the journal and...

[It takes a minute...And then all the rage and confusion that he'd felt before and gotten over in the months since he'd learned about it, all come rushing back. The man who had raised him, had taught him all of the ideals that he'd lived by to the letter tobe honourable, to be noble, to protect Camelot with his life if need be...

[Death isn't permanent here, and time is a screwy thing in this castle, but at this moment? Absolutely none of it matters to Arthur. He's been wanting to go home and correct the one little mistake that was Uther surviving so long to create such terror since he'd learned of it.

So when he finally speaks, there's an odd note of detachment in his voice, and his tone is even]

Father. Stay...Where you are. I shall come find you.

[Uther notes the slightly strange quality to his son's voice, and this is combined with the confusion of hearing the voices, but not seeing their source anywhere nearby. This time, however, he sees the origin, and is confused.]

What is this? It is sorcery! Your voice is here, but you are not. You would use sorcery??? [said with confusion and anger

[After Uther's yell, there's a soft grunt followed by a frustrated growl as someone wakes up. He'll speak in a sharp tone, far from happy that he woke up due to someone's yelling.]

Are you aware of the hour? Silence yourself immediately.

[That is decidely a new one for Uther, who is not accustomed to such behavior.]

I take orders from no one! I am king! It seems that I am not at home, but am still deserving of respect. I demand to know the meaning of this!

You act as if I care of your position. You could be the Imperator for all I'd care. And you were brought to another world by magic, that's the answer you'll get from anyone.

Um, yeah ... I did, actually. [pauses while she skims through what others have told him so far] Just ... to let you know, sometimes the book, um, is just open and picks stuff up. Like, when you don't want it to. So ... be careful unless you don't mind announcing everything to everybody.
