She's sort of surprised that she's not totally... foundering, actually, but at least Tad is jogging along still watching her back =/ and since she's kept up with training pretty well, it's not that bad a showing, even. YAY...]

[Tas is there, running through the streets, hoopak whirling as he looks for Raistlin. Skidding to a halt near Rin, he'll stab one of the nearby demons with the spear-end of his weapon, grimacing]

[after the city is overwhelmed, the monsters are headed for the castle gates. the King's soldiers are lined up to try and assist... but chances are, they'll just be fodder.

stop them from passing the gates!!]

[Puddle's not usually a fighter, but he's taken hold of a spear and is standing by the wall of the castle, his face grim as he waits for whatever's on its way. Or he was, until that strange wave flows over him and he steps back, bumping into the wall until it passes.

It gets a grimace, but it's soon over and he looks himself over... only to see that he's gone human.]

IN THE SKY (around town / around the castle)

[there are flying monsters attempting to infiltrate the windows and pierce through the castle/tower roofs. if you can fly, you can stop them!]

[ after getting dropped in the forest, aang is rushing back to the castle to check on katara when he sees these demons in the air...with him. oh shit son. that is a lot of demons...so aang is going in full Avatar State for this. something is very different about the bending...he's having to use it differently. but for some reason he knows HOW so...AIR SLICE etc. ]

[ugghh still reeling from ectoplasm being replaced by this ... weird ... glowy feeling, but whatever, it functions the same way. Sera is flying around, a big ol' energy shield protecting her from these demon things, as she shoots balls of energy at them to make them go explody.

Oh yes, and she's just ... screaming the whole time. Terrified, shrieky screaming. Aaaahh it's scary, okay?!]

[on the roof of the castle stand two people, in standard Medieval garb. Yuki has a hilariously appropriate hat and cloak on, with the reason for it becoming abundantly clear pretty quick.

There is obviously insane - and more importantly - dangerous shit going down, and she has orders to act from Kyon.

Even though she felt that wave and can tell she's lost certain abilities, she is nonetheless raising her hand, index finger pointed in the air as she starts speaking rapidly in a dead quiet tone. Her hand will start waving in a small circle, and a few moments later the air surrounding the castle is shifting....

Any flying demons caught in these altered air currents will find themselves either barreling towards the ground or, for those unluckier, completely torn into shreds, the air slicing up their bodies. Gruesome, but the quickest and least harmful option to those who aren't trying to kill them.]
