[Sam is outside, sitting on the grass with his dog. he's got his journal next to him in case anyone needs him, but he's mostly just letting Alice run around and get some exercise and keeping an eye on her to make sure she doesn't get into anything that, knowing the castle, she shouldn't.

Alice... [shakes her head, dropping to a crouch so that it's not that weird shoving of the dog's head up against her leg, trying to get attention] Here. Is that better?

[Alice is very happy to see you Jo, and there's some tail wagging to show how much better that is.

Sam spots her and waves a bit as he gets up]

[Alice is just lucky that Jo's gotten used to how overly friendly she is, because this could've been very different had she still been uncomfortable around dogs that run up to her quickly]

[glances over after a while to see where she ran off to, before heading over and finding her with Lindsey]

[he pets Alice one more time, then stands back up and brushes the dirt off his jeans]
