There's a church in Satis tower. [...] I'm not sure about town, though. I don't think they practice any sort of religion down there.

In one of the towers? I'll check it out, thanks! It would be a little odd for a town not to have a church though.

You're welcome. The church is run by Abel Nightroad, if you've met him. [...] There's a lot that's strange about the town.

I haven't yet. And like what?

I'm sure he'd be happy to meet you. [...] Well, er, it's sort of an involved subject. I'm sure if you speak to some townspeople, the problems will become obvious over time.

...Uh okay, I'll try that. They're not dangerous or anything, are they?

Oh, no, they're decent people. They might try to avoid you if they think you're from the castle, but I think that's just because we keep asking questions they can't answer. Just don't mention you're from here, if you can.

[penancing]

I won't then. And I suppose it's best not to ask too many questions either.

Right. They're pretty normal, besides that.

It really does. I'm glad it isn't though, there are some good things here and most of the people are kind.

[a surprised pause.] That's true. Most people here are happy to help others.
