[It's close to midnight. Cassandra's taking a night off of patrol to enjoy some time at the castle. Or... above it. Currently, she's on the roof, staring up at the night sky with a mug of tea in her hands. The journal's in her lap, but it's closed for once. Peace and quiet is nice sometimes.]

[She'd been up here during the day, but not at night; she figured it would be wise to get a good look at the land both ways.

She gives the girl up there a brief glance before setting her eyes on the horizon.]

[Azula gets a not in greeting when she glances over, but Cass stays silent.]

[she looks back to Cass, and then:]

Is it always this quiet?

[onset]

[The princess just gets a shake of the head.]

[DRAMATIC ENTRANCE, including stomping around, silent fuming, and rage, rage, rage. He storms right up to her, standing over her, and demands, angrily:]

Why do they NEVER remember us? They always remember DRAKE, but not US.

[She glances up at him, silent for a while before responding.]

I don't know.

Yeah, well, why aren't you mad?!

Anger won't help.

[madetobe]

[well after running into the Sprout and cooling off with a meal, he heads to the roof to clear his head; he reaches the ledge before he notices her, he just gives a nod]

[Cassandra nods back, not really looking at him. Her gaze is at the sky.]

[madetobe]

[he jumps onto the ledge and sits cross-legged]

They're just stars.

[onset]

They're different from home.

[Lavi was in the city, doing some odd jobs, and since it's late, he decided to fly back to the castle on his hammer. He lands on the roof and shrinks the hammer again, then pauses, noticing someone else up there]

Yuu's friend, right? You're up pretty late.

[onset]

[She shrugs.] So are you.

[recordhistory]

[puts his hammer away] I guess it can't be helped, sometimes, huh?

Anyway, nothing wrong with getting some quiet and air up here. It's gotta be a popular spot. [looks at the sky for a moment, too]

[ cass will hear the door open as akihiko steps onto the roof. he notices her and approaches. she's probably the only girl who doesn't make him feel completely weird. ]

Hey, Cassandra.

[onset]

[Upon hearing the door open, she glances back and offers a slight smile when she sees who it is.]

Hey.

[brbfisting]

[ he leans against the ledge to survey the landscape ]

Couldn't sleep either?

[onset]

[That actually earns a slight laugh.]

I'm usually up now.
