[The damage had been extensive and no doubt the bacillus given to her had aided the crusnik greatly in the recovery. Even after her head was reattached she hadn’t come back to life. There was still much more to do, then simply reattach a head. Nerves needed to be tended to, bones needed to be fixed among other things. But the bit of time had been useful to repair. And now there was a faint heartbeat. Unsteady but slowly easing into a consistent rhythm, followed by shallow breathing that almost fits someone whose asleep.
A minute before her color is restored and her eyes flutter open, everything working as they did before her death, as a living person. Her gaze shifts from side to side before closing. She does notice something though. She can tell she’s not alone. Her mouth opens to say something but nothing comes out.] [/room filter]
[a few more minutes pass before she tries to speak again, with the journal open nearby. Thankfully something comes out, albeit weakly.]
