[Hank's been doing a little exploring the past couple of days, but so far hasn't seen much. But then again he isn't trying too hard. So he's standing on the roof and reaching out into the ether in all directions, sifting through electrical signals and skimming over any tech he comes across, documenting them for  a later time.]

[The six AIs in Agent Maine's head go berserk when they feel the poke, part lashing out in fear and surprise, part grasping in curious greed. Agent Maine himself is going to be startled at the sudden reaction, but not knowing the cause he's confused and irritable, and looks around himself with a guttural snarl.]

[Hank's going to get all six of the AIs probing him back in return, in all sorts of manners; angry, sly, each one giving off a different signal.]

[Hank wasn't expecting so many artificial intelligence's in one place. What would a person need so many for at once, and what kind of AI gave off such strong emotion?

It seemed counter-productive.

He watches from atop the castle, and moves deeper into Maine, 'standing' in the middle of all of them, fully inviting them for some kind of interaction.]

[They're swarming, grasping, pulling. They want him, they want more. It should be very apparent that they're the driving force now, in charge of the human within the armor, although at this point Agent Maine is just as dependant and desperate as the rest of them.]

[Hanks feels that and decides to placate them. Like a fractal, he takes a piece of himself and splits it into multiple parts, one for each AI, each a free offering. Should they accept the data, Hank will attach himself like a lamprey, and this will allow him to monitor and spy on them.

All for the sake of science, of course.

If not, well nothing lost then.]

[The pieces are immediately accepted, and for a brief fraction of a moment there's some relative piece.

But, another moment later, one of the AIs is bullying the others for more pieces, and eventually it dissolves into chaos.

Agent Maine doesn't know what to do, torn between elation at somehow getting another AI (supposedly) and all the static from his current AIs. He smashes a vase and throws a crednza down the hallway.]

[If there's one part Hank hates about himself, it's his humanity and everything that goes with it, like joy and amusement.

But at that moment, he had to admit he was pretty amused. And curious. So he chooses to fuel the fire, throwing in more of himself into the fray.

However, unlike what he gave them at first, only a small percentage are the real deal. The rest are useless, hollow data caches.

He surmised that the competition would weed out t5he weaker AI and leave one standing, so to speak.]

[Oh, there's a brawl in there right now, but it's not really a fair fight; Omega's running around dominating and forcing the other AIs to give him their pieces. Gamma's trying to bribe and sneak the real ones through subterfuge.

Agent Maine, having an instant mental connection to each and every AI in his head, is staggering through the halls, snarling and growling, crashing into things in his confusion.]

[Hank continues to simply observe, focusing all his attention on both Gamma and Omega to see what they'll do. He wishes he had some popcorn.

[It gets down to the two of them, and for a moment it looks like a draw, but then Omega makes a move, Gamma feigns right, and Sigma leaps in and the whole things starts again

Maine tilts and crashes headfirst into the wall, possibly intentionally.]

[Washington is watching the Meta carefully right now. Definitely strange behavior. He's trying not to be noticed for now.]

[Pull up a chair, Wash! It's a free show~. Hank continues flooding both real and fake data caches to try and keep the ball rolling]

[The ball's rolling alright. The AIs continue to scrabble and collect the bits of data, stealing from the others, dominance falling from one to another before another sneaks in to take it.]

[Maine is doubled over, growling, snarling, angry, pained. Not knowing where the conflict is coming from, and having no control over his AIs, he's continues down the hallway in an uneven tilt, taking whatever measures he can to rock his head against the walls, the doors, anything that might jar loose the chaos inside.]

[Hank takes notice from atop the roof, watching both the chaos and Maine himself. But he suddenly gets bored with it all, burrowing deeper into Maine, looking for any data that might look like it could keep Hank occupied.

Anything that could hold that many AI's at once surely had to have something of interest.]

[Just staring at the Meta's strange behavior. Looks like he's actually lost it or something.

Though when Washington realizes the Meta is heading in his direction, he starts moving to try not to attract attention to himself. He doesn't want another fight with the Meta like this.]

[It's a dark, dark place in there. From a world where one AI was standard, Maine has lost all sense of self and sanity. There's very little, if any, of the man that was originally Maine; what's left is simply the will and drive of the AIs currently battling in his head.]

[And surrounding him is a suit of advanced technology, with so many toys added on that powering them all is his greatest weakness.]

[Maine is indeed headed in Wash's direction, but it's obvious he doesn't notice him, or if he does, he's not focusing on him at the moment.]

[Zip, zilch, nothing. What a waste. At this point, Hank's just about done and is ready to take off when he remembers the suit.

Upon closer inspection, nothing piques his fancy... at first that is. But then he notices the time distortion, the only thing that really sticks out.

Well, that and the fact that it took so much power to use any of this stuff. His curiosity was getting the better of him - what would happen if this Maine had spare power to use?

With that in mind, Hank retreats completely from the Meta - but not before throwing in some more caches for the hell of it.]
