Umm... ahah... [...]
So! You know... sometimes, there are cases of things, like in science, where people make mistakes. Kind of weird, silly mistakes, and sometimes they're serious and sometimes they're really not, and then sometimes, they're good mistakes! Mistakes people can learn from! Like that guy, who let mold grow on his plate things, and got that medicine because of that. Starts with a p. Penicillin? The future world would not have penicillin, which is a pretty good thing to have around, if it hadn't actually been for a mistake that he made... and took... and learned from!
So, sometimes when people make mistakes, even if they look bad at first, sometimes they actually reveal new things. New things are learned! And that's good, right?
Right! Exactly, Rin. Mistakes aren't always a bad thing--especially when, in the end, everyone is okay! Rin and I are both in one piece. Well, two separate, whole pieces. You guys know what I mean. A-anyway, um, after burning some extra calories, we're finally at the border. Phew! What an adventure. We sure learned a lot... like the Penicillin guy. Didn't we, Rin? Hahaha...
That's right! We absolutely did. And we are so sorry for any trouble or misunderstandings that might have been caused by the whole thing, because the last thing we'd want to do is be a bother to any of you! I mean, absolutely not! We are both so extremely, horribly sorry for anyone we might have made worry. But the important thing is that we're both safe now, right? And we both just really, really want to come home.
Yeah, we're really sorry. I'm sure a lot of you were worried, and sometimes worry can rush out and kinda come off as livid with rage, but--we didn't MEAN to get lost. The concern is touching... We're just tired and want to sleep and shower.
Oh. And eat. We're... so hungry. We're so sorry and so, so hungry... [there's a stomach growling here]
Seconding that. [A sympathetic pause.]
So, um, we're just at the border here... finally... after walking for hours... so if someone could find it in the kindness of their heart to come and get us, please, please, please, we would appreciate it. And if they could bring some food, that would be even better.
