[ finds the silence eerie, not having realized he'd grown kind of used to the spider's songs. he's had some time to think since the incident, and he's currently leaning up against the throne in the throne room, staring at the 666 engraved in his right palm. even here where he has no powers, he's reminded of what he really is. a monster who can't control his stupid temper ]

Yeah. I still don't trust Joy. This was all too damn suspicious, but...

If his body hasn't disappeared by now...that right there probably proves death out here's permanent. But I can think of someone I know that even if that happened, he'd manage to come back to life once I threw his stupid ass over the barrier.

So maybe there are special cases if you can get them back on the other side, but I doubt that'd work with just anyone.

I guess we'll find out, once they get home.

Try not to lose sleep over it. We knew we were heading into battle, and possibly a trap. The odds were against us, so the fact that we only had one casualty is pretty amazing.
