It may very well be worth the trip under normal circumstances, but I have no desire to witness another battle, and especially not "in person".

Perhaps the next time people leave the Castle I will go with them.

Are you worried? About the Dead Zone I mean.

Only to a certain extent. The Castle has given me quite a lot since my arrival, and while it was likely not an equal trade for what it took from me, I am still reluctant to lose it. And I am uncertain of how the Dead Zone would affect someone like me.

I did speak with someone some time ago, however, who said it would be likely that I simply lost my "abilities" if I left, and nothing more. So who is to say what would happen? There would be only one way for me to find out, but I do not wish to try if I would only be doing so to witness an unpleasant event.

If I were to accompany the other residents the next time they decided to leave, then I see no reason as to why you would not be able to join me until the border to see what might happen, at least. Though I must admit, I am curious as to what you think would happen to yourself.

Well we can see and talk to you here, can't we? You even have a physical form.

It is a bit peculiar, is it not? But I do not believe that necessarily changes what I am - though my 'sight' was drastically altered upon being brought to this world, so I do not have all the capabilities that I might normally.

Perhaps you are right. Regardless of the outcome, it would be very interesting, would it not? I cannot help but wonder if it would have the same affect as going to Los Angeles did.
