[After spending a good chunk preparing and catching a few hours of sleep, Allen snuck out of the castle at the crack of dawn, taking Kratos's horse that he had been watching over since he left. Following the fact that Oliver felt it was to the south and Rifuls' conversations through the journal mentioning prefering mountainous regions he had been heading in that way - but he still had a long way to go through these woods. ]

[A small part of him knew he was being reckless and knew that it was likely he was no match for Riful. But after Teresa's disappearance he could not longer bring himself to sit back at the castle and wait. He had to do...something. Even if it was just finding the place and stalling for time until the others could get there. A person going along...or just with a small flying golem, could move faster than any of the search parties anyway

[He falters back a little, and it's just pure luck that the horse doesn't get too much, but it definitely makes a startled sound too]
