The closer it draws to his one year anniversary here, the more he's getting a little home sick. Paradisa isn't quite built like his own castle and not in the same sort of placement. He's missed being able to stand on the curtain wall and over look his entire kingdom. He figures the roof is the best he's going to get, and not usually a place people enjoy making nuisances of themselves. So he's entirely surprised when he sees someone...Covered in birds. What.]
[Marie just shrugs. He thought it was kind of obvious what he was doing. Is there something wrong with birds?]
Relaxing and feeding some birds.
[He thinks for a second, trying to place your voice. Last time he heard it, Joan was using it, but he's going to assume that particular loss is over.] Ah... Arthur, was it?
[It's not that obvious to him. In his time people don't have any interest in spending time with birds unless they're training or using them for hunting, and then it's hawks.] For what purpose? Are they not able to find their own food?
[He's surprised that you remembered, and it takes him a second to narrow down the people he's met over the past little while] Noise Marie. A pleasure to meet you properly, and in person as well.
[Since he remembers you stating you preferred that, and he'll step closer to him] Have any aversion to company?
[nearby the entrance/exit to the roof, there is a boy! and he seems quite content (for the moment) to staaaare at Marie from his spot there, mostly because he's worried about potentially scaring the birds away and partly because he has... never really heard of a human that birds were so comfortable with. IT'S WEIRD MAN.]
[o-oh, he was noticed. hm. he tilts his head a little bit, remaining quite for a few moments - the birds wouldn't mind him talking, would they? he doubted it, but you never knew... - before finally speaking up.]
Hello.
...the birds seem very fond of you. Is that normal for you?
[ And this is Gilgamesh, practicing his sword work. He's shirtless, sweating hard, and moving about as fast as most superhuman things would in his same position. ]
[ When he finishes -- after about an hour -- he's not so much as breathing hard. Marie can probably tell that something is a bit...off with how he's holding himself, though. ]

You can come over if you'd like, you know. [Cos it's kind of odd holding a conversation when you're standing over there.]

I think I do miss that, the traveling. Though it is rather nice here.

[sits on the ledge, a leg hanging over]
You might as well call it retirement.
