[Well huh. He's really had enough summer fun considering he went through it about 15,000+ times but doesn't actually remember it, but he'll chill.

He's playing with sand when he gets the coolest idea evah and eventually decides to make a sand castle.

Not that he knows the basics, but whatever. He'll wing it or something. He gets close enough that he can get water when he needs it, and sketches in the sand a lame design for said-future castle, actually getting absorbed in his work.]

So I guess I'll put some towers here. . . and what's a good sand castle without a moat? Yeah. Oh-- One here too. . .

[As long as the castle decides to not repeat this party 15 500 times she'll be fine!

So she's standing nearby and hey, she's even wearing swimwear and not her school uniform for once.]

[Kyon gets his bucket full and is, actually, whistling as he walks back to his sand castle placement area place. He spills a bit of the sea water when he sees Nagato.]

Hey. [looks over her shoulder a bit] It looks pathetic, I know, but. . . it's worth a shot. Never really built a sand castle before.

[slowly looks back and glances up at Kyon. She'll nod before standing, looking almost... interested? It's tough to tell, since it's Yuki and all.]

[Yeah, and he'll smile at that.]

Wanna help? I could use all the hands I can get.

Uhm. . . I guess. . . we start with making sand patties as a base. . . and then when that's done, we can do the walls.

[Doesn't really know what he's actually supposed to do, but hey, no fun in doing it the easy way, right?]

[they're in the same boat for once~ so Yuki will nod and after a few moments of deliberation, kneel down and start piling sand up :Db]

[Aw, Yuki's so adorable.

Sort of, does the same thing. Plops them side-by-side so they resemble a somewhat large square shape.]

[as they're working she's going to analyze the properties of the sand. Which means once she understands its structure, plus the properties of sea water.....

Well, she's gradually going to start getting more confident in building this thing]

[Yuki, meanwhile, is making her patch of sand into some towers according to Kyon's plan. Not much to look at at first but as she adds details they begin to shape up]

[Oh man, Kyon's loving this, even if his side is looking very, very sad. It's just nice to relax without Haruhi breathing down his back once in a while.]
