[Alright. He's not normally one to contact complete strangers, but, well, wasn't everyone a stranger here? And besides, this was just beginning to get too odd. His voice sounds puzzled, but polite. And vaguely amused.]

Have I missed some sort of jam festival? There seems to be an overabundance of journal entries relating to the topic.

I'm afraid it's just one of a number of mysteries that have placed at my feet as of late. This entire castle, for example.

You must be new here then. I confess I haven't been here very long myself but, I found it is better to live and let leave in regards to the castle.

Of course I have not experienced some of the castle's crueler pranks just yet.

I would be lying if I said it didn't trouble me. There are people here I must guide and protect so I am grateful to be here with them.

...I've heard in the past it's made people forget who they are.

That's dreadful. A place that can manipulate memories!
