Morning of the 17th [loss end]

[Dictated, in a slow, pensive tone]

At last, my body's been put right again. I don't know what that was all about.

I can remember all of it, though, existing parallel to my real childhood, though as strangely shadowed as if it all really did take place years ago.

I find this vaguely disconcerting.

[Filtered to Edward]

Thank you for the helicopter, and your friendship. The helicopter occupies a place of honor on my mantel now, and you are welcome to visit Sobek any time you wish.

[Filtered to the Question]

I wish to thank you for your kindness, knowing that I did not deserve it.

[Filtered to Rorschach]

We're not in our world anymore, and what happens to me doesn't matter here. If you still want your revenge, come take it. I'm ready.
