I always wondered how the journals kept working past the barrier, too.

Yeah, it's weird, don't you think? Nothing else works, and it seems like we truly get out of the castle's influence. Unless it's just psyching us out wanting us to think that, but we're getting into the territory of "a bit overcomplicated" there.

Why would anything here bother with any of it? That's all just speculation.

I think we have a decent idea of why the castle bothers by now...

Ideas are great, but they don't hold up to cold hard facts, and those are what I miss.

That's the problem. We have so little information that isn't really subjective.

And I'm sure whoever's running the show, even if they're multiple somebodies who aren't on the same side, wants to keep it that way.

I guess you could say that. I may have all the time in the world here, but we really don't back home. Learning everything I could here was fun at first, and I mean I still pass the time reading and asking what I can, but...
