[Dean ... wasn't there. When Sam heard the filter, Sam had just figured that Dean was out with his girl, but when he heard that ... there might be something more to it]

Not normal how?

[still quiet, since there's a little girl trying to get comfy on Jo's lap]

As in, there's a little girl in my apartment calling me 'Mommy' all of a sudden.

[there's a bit of a pause]

.... Oh.

What, Oh?

Don't "Oh." me here.

[stands up and goes to put the little girl ... idek... on the couch]

There's a little blond girl in my place and you're saying "Oh."

[When Sam wakes up in the morning, he's not alone. It doesn't register at first -- he doesn't mind not being alone and his arm tightened around whoever it is, pulling them closer. But as he started to wake up more, he realized that it was Jo sleeping next to him, and that might be a problem.

And then he's temporarily distracted by a little girl climbing over his legs]

Morning, Daddy.

[and Sam sighs]

Morning, sweetheart.

[at some point during the night, Jo had needed to pee and then half-awake she had forgotten that she was sleeping on the couch, she barely let it register she wasn't alone in the bed as she fell back asleep. When she woke up an hour later she figured it out pretty easily, but didn't even have the energy to put up the effort to get back to the couch, plus he was warm and comfortable, so instead she just inched closer to him and fell back asleep, but now... now she's waking up because a knee just pressed into her thigh]

Ow.

[rolls onto her back, exhaling and blinking, because there is still a little girl in her room, and it wasn't a crazy dream]

Well, someone's up. Just, it's not me, yet.

[Hannah's busy snuggling in between her parents, and Sam looks over at Jo with a small sigh]

How'd you sleep?

[she'll shift to make room for the little girl, putting her hand awkwardly behind tiny shoulders]

Alright? I -- I didn't mean to, I mean, I got up in the middle of the night and didn't think. [apologetic glance]
