So anyone who's interested, I'm making pie here in the kitchen. As my mama used to say "coooooome and get it!"

Hey! Sorry, I didn't see ya down there. Wanna try some? [smiles]

[chuckles, then slides a slice of apple pie onto a plate, setting it down in front of him, giving his head a pat]

[She hasn't been far from her room since she arrived, but... she thought she might try and make Christine some food.

Hadn't been expecting anyone in here, and certainly not a man. Just... hovers at the doorway, torn in between whether to go or stay.]

[notices her out of the corner of his eye. He turns and smiles]

You can come in if ya want. I ain't gonna bite.

Shrinks behind the wall a little, breathing faster.]

[his grin drops and he lowers his voice, just trying to be friendly without the over the top enthusiasm]

[Pie? Well he said delicious, and by this point she knows where the kitchen is, at least.

Hope Jay doesn't mind the fay spider crawling in, clambering across the ceiling before hanging from a fixture with her knees, reaching down to snatch up some of the pie. Or rather, going to go try and grab a nice big handful of it. Slices are for squares rite]

[spots her when she reaches down for the pie. He just smiles and watches her take the handful]

[And like the finicky child that she is, she actually carefully disassembles her handful of pie, eating the apples first and the crust second before licking her hand clean]

I haven't ever had pie before. It's pretty okay...

You're welcome. Yeah, A few people here had no idea what I was talkin' 'bout when I mentioned pie. So I figured I'd bake a whole bunch and introduce 'em to it.
