[She chuckles a bit.] We only really traveled together when the Empire and Republic were on the brink of war. Had to get the prince back to the capital city to let people know he was still alive.

Yeah, pretty much. Zoids were used by both sides, so things were pretty tense for a while.

It used to be like that with us - lot of the Outer Planets didn't want anything to do with a centralized government or Earth. But that was before there was an outside threat.
