[Five has parked the TARDIS out on the lawn, letting it soak up the spring sunshine, too. he's got a striped canvas lawn chair out beside the TARDIS, and currently, he's having an impromptu, one-Time-Lord cricket practice, pitching the ball into the lawn chair. it's serving to take his mind off the fact that Ten and Nine have gone, and it's a beautiful day. as he walks up to retrieve the ball, he dictates into the open journal lying on the grass]
Well, I know it's not Los Angeles anymore, and several people seem to be a bit disheartened about that, among other things. But shall we look on the bright side of things? It's a lovely day, and the ground is drying up ... which means that exploration season is very nearly upon us! I believe Raine had mentioned something about taking another trip out to test the boundaries of the new barrier, that sort of thing ... never too late to begin planning, is it?
