Captain's Log 2 (On a boat)

[Sounds of crashing waves and the yelling of crewmen can be heard over the journal. ]

I must say that I'm not terribly put out by this experience. [He calls commands out away from the journal, starboard and other boating terms can be made out as he speaks.]

[Softly to himself.] The holodeck simply isn't going to be the same after this.

Not a yacht my good man, a load bearing vessel. I'm a simple ship captain, and am greatly enjoying the task.

It is true that nothing can really compare to the real open air.

Too true. It has been a long time since I've been able to simply enjoy the fresh air.

What is it that you normally do, for a living?

[iamlocutus]

I'm a ship Captain, but of a very different kind of ship. [He's kind of hesitant, someone people here know about aliens, but he's not sure if he should be talking to everyone about space.]

What about yourself?

I've been enjoying it.

Splendid, did you end up in an occupation that suits your tastes?

[alwaysmoony]

[softly] I did. One I didn't have a chance to do enough, back home.
