[ a surprised gasp ]

I didn't realize flowers had such beautiful meanings to them.

T-They're capable of expressing a great number of things, some as terrible as others are lovely.

Terrible?

Um. B-Bouquets of withered flowers represent unrequited or rejected love. Aloe speaks of grief or superstition, a-and black roses, of death. Evening primroses are a sign of inconsistency in love or character.

Flowers c-can be used to declare war, pass spiteful messages, or even kill, if they're toxic enough...

F-Flowers are my passion.

Really? Mine too! It's kind of interesting how the different meanings of these flowers don't seem to vary much between worlds.

I didn't think I would ever meet someone with similar interests.
I suppose it really is a universal language, l-like they say.

Sure, especially around the holiday, it'll let people know what to get. No one wants to send the wrong message.

Hmmm.. I rather like the scent of anemone. Care to tell me what that means?

Anemones speak of dying hope - o-of something, or someone, who is forsaken.
Y-You should be careful; they can be really toxic.
