[The journal picks up some rather cheerful humming coming from Delysia. Lovely holiday tunes! Followed by a few plunks from her beloved piano that the castle brought her from her old flat. Of course, in bringing the piano, it brought
all decorations atop it with it.]
You know, all of this holiday cheer and goodwill toward men, it's rather nice! Not to mention the fact that the castle has been exceptionally generous this year, hmm? [a few plinks of some keys] More generous to some than others, I would say.
But really, it kind of makes me think. Bringing all these little slices from home when some of us have been here for so long... Quite frankly, I'd all but forgotten about this piano or my old flat. Or anything from home, really. [stops plinking and laughs] Is that silly? That it's gotten to that point? I mean, for all intents and purposes, Paradisa is my home now, right? It's certainly where everything I care about is. Aside from Guinevere, but I'm sure she's happy wherever she is.
Maybe I'm just giving into all the warm feelings the holidays usually bring.
[She scoots herself out of the piano bench and moves to pick up her old frames. That lifestyle seems so far away now.]
