[ Since Ten is thoroughly convinced that something bad is going to happen on the 24th, if not sooner, he's giving his gifts out early. Thanks to the castle, some bits of useless technology laying about the TARDIS and some decent jiggery-pokery, he managed to teleport the scant few gifts he got for people right into where they're staying. ]
[ Reinette ]
[ Neatly hung on a hangar with a little note pinned to it is a
dress he took from the depths of the TARDIS wardrobe. The little note says 'Something I thought might suit you. It's a little different than the French style, but I hope you like it nonetheless. -The Doctor' ]
[ Rose ]
[ Rose is getting two little trinkets this Christmas. One is the bazoolium weather detector that she was going to give her mother the day things went south at Canary Wharf. The second is the little purple matryoshka doll they found when Rose gave him a tour of the town. The note with it is just a simple 'Merry Christmas, Rose. -D' ]
[ Lucy ]
[ Despite the tension and mutual confusion and apparent dislike in the relationship, Ten picked up a little thing for Lucy as a peace offering. In fact the note reads 'In hopes that we can at least be civil. -D10' Of course, a
clock may not have been the best peace offering gift to go with. ]
[ Morgana ]
[ Morgana's gift is a simple silver chain with two things on it. One is a small
fire agate stone set in a small silver oval. The other is a TARDIS key, put on the same chain for convenience. 'Morgana,' the accompanying note reads. 'I hope you enjoy the necklace. Feel free to take the key off it, as it doesn't really fit with the chain or stone. It's a key to the TARDIS should you ever with to come visit or just take refuge from life for a moment. It's a gift from both my Ninth and me and I only ask that you keep it safe. It would be best if that didn't fall into not so nice hands. Merry Christmas, Morgana. -The Doctor' ]
[ Del ]
[ Del's gift is simply an incredibly crazy outfit from the 51st century. And it's purple and orange, reminiscent of the cookies Del decorated with the Doctor. 'Merry Christmas. -"Your" Doctor' ]
[ Ianto ]
[ Ianto doesn't have a note with his gift, but it's unmistakably from the Doctor. After all, who else would give him photos of Jack and the spare old white tee and leather pants he wore when traveling with his Ninth incarnation? ]
[ Bart ]
[ In Bart's room, there's now a little wooden box with colored pencils, pens and all sorts of other things from both the town and somewhere in the TARDIS. Ten had to do quite a bit of digging to find any art materials in the TARDIS, although with all of the things in there, he knew he was bound to have something. So Bart gets art supplies and a little doodled Ten with a Santa hat and a speech bubble saying 'Merry Christmas!' ]
[ Crowley ]
[ Ten hadn't exactly been planning on getting Crowley a gift, but when he saw the book '1000 and One Ways to Make Apple Treats!' he couldn't exactly resist. There's a note with just a smiley face and the Doctor's signature taped to the cover. ]
[ York and Delta ]
[ The present for York and Delta was probably one of the easiest to put together. There's a small silver canister full of the Chula nanites he showed them earlier, notes on how they exactly work, filled with the technobabble and rambling the Doctor tends to go off on. There's another slip of paper with it, but it's not a Christmas note. In fact, they didn't get one. Instead, the paper says 'Good for one free trip in the TARDIS.' And, if one looks closely, there's smaller print on the bottom that reads something along the lines of 'Only valid outside of Paradisa. The Doctor (any of his regenerations) is not responsible for any subsequent trips the one trip redeemed with this coupon may bring about.' ]
[ Three ]
[ Three is getting a small
wall plaque for her TARDIS. Her note is written in Gallifreyan and is decorated with little symbols that only the Doctors would understand. 'Merry Christmas. -X' ]
[ Five ]
[ Five now has a note that reads 'Please get rid of the celery. And get a kettle and some string for whatever is coming.' Next to it is a proper, green
boutonniere. ]
[ Nine ]
[ In Nine's room there is simply a DVD of the movie "Dumbo" resting on top of a can of string beans. Ten hopes you see the humor in it, Nine. ]
[ After all the gifts are delivered, Ten goes up to the castle roof to look out at the scenery and think. He's not really brooding, but there is a slightly wistful look on his face. He's been worried for a while that the peace won't last, even though he really hopes that just this once he could get a Christmas that didn't go horribly awry. But with his Christmas luck and the fact that there was a black tie event... he can't shake the feeling of foreboding. So he sits and looks at the snow covered world and hopes that the early gifts might give the people he cares about some happiness before things went down, if they in fact went down. ]
[ ooc | i was planning on doing this later today (the 22nd), but couldn't resist posting it because i am an antsy thing like that. >_> SO MERRY EARLY-EARLY CHRISTMAS. or smthng. idek. ]
