[the journal opens to a fairly peaceful sound of bubbling water and a little bit of a crackle as the fire of the stove heats up the water.
yes. farnese is trying to cook. oh god.
unfortunately, the peaceful sounds don't last much longer because the pot starts smoking and .... the smoke detector in the house goes off. there's a loud, annoying beeping noise]
