[the journal is picking quick, impatient footsteps that are coming to an abrupt stop, and an older, gruff male voice can be heard]
The hell are you doing out here, kid? You've been standing there for an hour!
[there's silence - obviously the man is waiting for an answer. But nothing]
Hey! I'm talking to you! [another few moments of silence, then the sound of someone being grabbed]
Are you even lis - [his voice is cut off as a crackling noise becomes louder. Then, in an instant, the horrific screaming starts and that crackling is a full-on fire.
A few seconds pass before footsteps can be heard again, plodding away steadily from the screaming that's dying down. Strangely though, the sounds of the fire are just getting louder]
