[Have this written in neat and incredibly old fashioned handwriting on the journal page]

Remember, remember the fifth of November.
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot

I'm sure burning a guy on a bonfire is so much better than mass commercialization.

But what do I know, I get presents for Hanukkah.

Uh, thanks, Crowley.

I saw a movie about what happened to Guy Fawkes and read a bit about him afterward. Does Britain celebrate Guy Fawkes' failure, or that he tried?

You're welcome, Clark! [Doodled :D here]

It was something to do with celebrating the fact the King wasn't dead, so I'm guessing that first one. I doubt people pay it much heed nowadays, they're just in it for the bonfire and the fireworks.

I doubt many people know much of the history behind what the King was doing at the time or know why they're supporting him. The movie I saw celebrated Fawkes, oddly enough.

Hmmm, like I said, it was during all those silly religious spats and I do try to stay out of them. Professional appearance and all that. That's because Fawkes was a highly entertaining fellow and deserves the recognition for being the crazy, magnificent bastard that he was.

British people are fucking weird.

Noooo, I was just thinking about it. Thought I'd remind you of how funny it was.

Do we really want to play the American Vs British game? I'm very good at it. You might lose.

Right. You haven't been drinking paint thinner by any chance, have you?
