Augh!
I taught my first lesson today. Luckily, the students were volunteers. Poor students. I suck at teaching. Perhaps I should rethink my life. Of course, should and will have no real connection with me. heh heh. I'm still convinced that I will learn from the experience and give a stellar lesson tomorrow! I mean, they hired us for being trainable, not for being good, right? This time we have a teacher's manual. Sadistic trainers didn't give us any before, just a copy of two pages of the textbooks and a teaching method. They admitted to doing it on purpose to make us appreciate the teacher's manuals, though. I appreciate them, yes, I do.
Also, apparently my school will be ~80% kids. Eek. Oh, well, good experience. Confidence-building and all that. Plus, they'll all want to take classes with Laura, so I can have the other 20%.
Okay, I'm going to go watch L'Arc~en~Ciel videos and then eat tempura with my fellow trainees, then once my motivation has recovered, I'll work on planning tomorrow's lesson.
